Macro at Admiralty Park

Went for macro shootout with KL, weather is unpredictable. sometime dark cloud, sometime damn hot! so at the end, we only manage to walk around the park for 1.5hrs.



today my extension tube goes siao. once i attached another 20mm ET to the lens (which my lens already mounted with 36mm ET), the camera body display FEE error. it is due to the aperture ring. when i got home and tried again, it works fine again!!! siao!

Valentine's Day Shootout at SBG

Today me and KL went to SBG for our macro shootout. Trying our new toy (Extension tube)on our lenses, it is able to give us more magnification to the object.






Maybe due to Valentine's day, Insect/Bug also go to Pak Tor.

Dragonfly at Admiralty Park

An hour of shooting time so i only manage to found one dragonfly.
Admiralty Park is a nice place for Macro Shooting. The strong wind over there is the only disadvantage for us macro shooter.

DIY Softbox for my Macro Shooting

Before the creation of my softbox, i wanted to purchase a softbox for my macro shooting. But after i saw the softbox which was displaying at CP, i realise that actually it is very easy to make. So i decide to try to DIY using plastic container.



To make the Softbox look nicer, i did gafer on the container and it look cool. :D

i will try out this creation of mine tomorrow shooting at Admiralty park.

A nice place for macro shooting. Lots of insect/bug. Manage to took a few shots over there before raining. -_-''' Will go there again next weekend.

HSBC TreeTop walk

Park my car at Venus Drive and walk to the Treetop Walk. Initally, i thought that the distance is still okie for me (about 4+km)but after carry my backpack of about 5kg, i really can feel the stress on my shoulder. Nevertheless, i feel that it is not worth the effort to walk so far just to see that ladder. -_-'''

Macro Shootout at SBG today again.

Went to SBG to test out my new toy - AF Micro 200mm f/4D IF-ED



comparing this lens with 105mm VR f2.8, i will give a thumb up to 200mm f4.
Good distance and sharp. But no VR function and heavy 1.2kg -_-'''

Jurong Birdpark

Not much birds for me to shoot as most are caged.
I still prefer zoo than birdpark :P

Macro shootout at SBG

Before heading to SBG, i was at AHBT. Hoping to shoot some butterflies but it turned out quite disappointing. Butterflies everywhere but is flying around. Then i decided to go SBG.

Went to National Orchid Garden and realise that the admission fee is $5 -_-''' so i decided to shoot some beautiful orchid outside the entrance. :P
